LEH, Apr 6: The administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued orders allocating departments to IAS officers Shurbir Singh and Nitish Rajora with immediate effect.
According to an official order, Shurbir Singh, a 2004 batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been assigned the Revenue Department, Public Health Engineering and Irrigation & Flood Control, as well as the Housing & Urban Development Department. He has also been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner.
In a separate order, Nitish Rajora, a 2021 batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been appointed as Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise. He will also hold additional charge as Director, Accounts & Treasuries, and Director, Housing & Urban Local Bodies.
