Khaltse, Sept 20: A vibrant display of knowledge and enthusiasm marked the Zonal Level Science and Mathematics Quiz Competition for elementary students held today at Khaltse Headquarters. The event saw 21 teams from various Government High and Middle Schools across the zone competing in a test of intellect and quick thinking.
After a day of spirited competition, Government Middle School Yulchung emerged victorious, securing the first position. Government High School Tia followed closely in second place, while Government Middle School Saspol claimed the third spot.
The competition was presided over by Zonal Education Officer Khaltse, Nawang Namgail, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, Namgail presented prizes to the winning teams and extended his appreciation to all participants for their dedication and effort. He highlighted that the essence of the event lay not merely in achieving top positions but in embracing curiosity, engaging in learning, and participating wholeheartedly. He urged students to continue questioning, exploring, and cultivating their innate curiosity, stressing that such pursuits form the foundation of meaningful education.
The quiz, marked by enthusiasm and healthy rivalry, provided a platform for students to showcase their talents while fostering a spirit of inquiry and collaboration across schools in the zone.
