NEW DELHI, APR 27 : Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has informed Delhi High Court Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma that he will neither appear personally nor send a lawyer in the excise policy case, the party announced Monday.
In a letter, the former Delhi Chief Minister wrote: “My hope of getting justice from Justice Swarana Kanta has been broken. Therefore, I have decided to follow Mahatma Gandhi’s path of Satyagraha.”
Kejriwal said the choice stemmed from his conscience and added he reserves the right to appeal Justice Sharma’s decisions to the Supreme Court.
