Srinagar, May 7: Jammu and Kashmir Police and J&K Bank on Wednesday signed a historic addendum to the 2023 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at strengthening welfare measures for the next of kin (NoK) of martyrs, serving police personnel, and Special Police Officers (SPOs).
The agreement provides for enhanced insurance coverage, improved medical assistance, and educational support for beneficiaries.
The addendum was signed by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat and J&K Bank Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of senior officers from both J&K Police and the bank.
Officials said the initiative reflects a continued commitment towards the welfare and financial security of police personnel and their families.
