Srinagar, Feb 20: Director Meteorological Department Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad assured on Friday that Jammu and Kashmir will see no major rain or snowfall through February’s end—good news for daily life and farming.
Weather stays generally dry from Feb 20-25. Expect partly to generally cloudy skies on Feb 26, with light rain or snow possible at isolated spots on Feb 27-28. Early March brings generally cloudy conditions Mar 1-3, light precip over higher reaches at scattered places; then partly cloudy Mar 4-7.
