JAMMU, July 3: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has amended the Jammu & Kashmir High Court Rules, 1999, making it mandatory for applicants to provide detailed disclosures in all bail petitions filed before the court.
Under the newly inserted Rule 176-B, every bail application must now include complete details of the FIR, the applicant’s arrest and custody status, the stage of investigation or trial, criminal antecedents, information on previous bail applications, and details of any pending non-bailable warrants or proclamation proceedings.
