Jammu, Jan 09 : In a sustained crackdown on narco-terror networks under Operation Sanjeevani, Jammu Police (South Zone) has achieved a major breakthrough in a high-profile case earlier unearthed by Police Station Gandhi Nagar, exposing an inter-district, inter-state and cross-border narcotics-cum-arms syndicate after a deep, sustained and professional investigation.
The case stems from FIR No. 249/2025 registered at PS Gandhi Nagar on 14.11.2025 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act and 111 BNS, after two persons were apprehended during patrolling, which led investigators to a well-organised narco-terror module operating across multiple locations. During the course of investigation, multiple accused including peddlers, financial handlers and jail-based facilitators were arrested, and over 4.95 kg of narcotics (approx.) was recovered along with other incriminating material, marking a significant blow to the syndicate’s operations.
