JAMMU: On the occasion of Sanskrit Month, a massive free medical and medicine distribution camp was organized at Nardani Kartar Farm under the joint aegis of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Raipur Thather, the AYUSH Department, Kalindi Nursing Home, the Health Department Jammu, and Block Bhalwal.

Hundreds of villagers benefited from health check-ups, medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and free medicines during the camp.

The chief guest, Jammu Chamber of Commerce President Shri Arun Gupta, appreciated the initiative and said that such health camps in rural areas are extremely beneficial for people in need. He emphasized that healthcare facilities should not remain confined to cities but should also reach rural and remote areas, which is an important need of the hour.

Such service camps not only provide timely medical care but also create greater awareness about health and well-being. Praising the efforts of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust and its partner organizations, he said that public service is the true strength of society and that a healthy and empowered society can be built only through collective efforts.

Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of the Trust and a State Award recipient, said that organizing a medical camp during Sanskrit Month was an effort to promote the message of service, compassion, and public welfare embedded in Indian culture. He said that a healthy society is the foundation of a strong society and assured that the Trust would continue undertaking such public service initiatives in the future.

Among those present on the occasion were Chamber of Commerce & Industry Junior Vice President Rajiv Gupta, former Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh, Dr. Vidyut Gupta, Dr. Rajan Sharma, Dr. Yamini Wazir, Dr. Aastha Sharma, and Dr. Madhu Sharma, along with several other dignitaries.
