JAMMU, JAN 21: Jammu and Kashmir will conduct House Listing Operations (HLO) from June 1 to 30 as part of Census 2027, India’s first fully digital census, officials announced Wednesday. Self-enumeration will begin 15 days earlier, supported by technical assistants and charge officials to guide citizens.
The schedule was finalized by the Union Territory Level Census Coordination Committee during a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Tuesday. The government will issue formal notification by January 31.
