NEW DELHI, October 19: India on Monday strongly rejected a resolution on Jammu and Kashmir adopted by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), accusing the grouping of being misused by Pakistan to advance its “bigoted agenda”.
Reacting sharply to the resolution, New Delhi described the OIC’s references to India as “malicious, biased and false”, alleging that they had been orchestrated by Pakistan.
“We categorically reject the anti-India references in the resolutions of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting held in Baghdad on October 17-18,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
