NEW DELHI, May 21: India has issued a health advisory for passengers arriving from or transiting through Ebola-affected countries, directing those with symptoms or a history of exposure to immediately inform airport health authorities before immigration clearance.
The advisory, issued by the Directorate General of Health Services, specifically refers to travellers from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and South Sudan, which the World Health Organisation has classified as high-risk countries.
