JAMMU, OCT 7: Leaders and workers of the INDIA bloc on Wednesday held a ‘Save Democracy March’ in Jammu, demanding the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
The protesters raised slogans in support of electoral reforms and alleged that democratic institutions were being undermined.
The INDIA bloc leaders also reiterated their concerns over the functioning of the Election Commission and demanded accountability from the CEC.
The march saw participation from leaders and workers of constituent parties, who called for safeguarding democratic values and ensuring transparency in the electoral process.
