New Delhi, May 19 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a productive meeting with Iceland Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation across key emerging sectors.
During the discussions, both leaders explored opportunities to expand collaboration in clean energy, geothermal energy, fisheries, sustainability, carbon capture and storage, and the broader blue economy. The leaders also highlighted the potential of the India-EFTA TEPA agreement in boosting trade and investment ties between the two nations.
India reiterated its strong commitment to deepening its long-standing friendship with Iceland and enhancing cooperation in future-oriented green technologies and sustainable development.
