JAMMU: In a significant administrative move highlighting the latest reshuffle in the J&K bureaucracy, IAS officer Vidhu Shekhar has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Jammu, even as three JKAS officers were transferred to new positions on Thursday.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) with the approval of the J&K government, Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who had been awaiting adjustment in the department, has now been appointed as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
The government also ordered the transfer of Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, who currently serves as Managing Director of the J&K Cable Car Corporation. He has been posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir, and will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director of the Cable Car Corporation until further orders.
In a separate order issued by GAD under number 1554-JK(GAD) of 2025, and approved by the Lieutenant Governor, Vidhu Shekhar, IAS (AGMUT:2021), who had been awaiting adjustment in the department, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
