Jan 29: Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, on Wednesday voiced grave concern over Hamas leaders’ engagements in Pakistan and Bangladesh, warning that such activities should alarm the international community.
In an interaction with Videos, Azar said these interactions must be firmly countered and confirmed that India and Israel are holding talks on the issue, expressing hope for effective measures to prevent future attack attempts. He added that the October 7, 2023 Hamas assault on Israel has emboldened terrorist organisations worldwide to replicate such attacks.
