Leh, Apr 7: Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former Chief Executive Councillor of LAHDC Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson, on Monday extended greetings to party workers on the occasion of the party’s Foundation Day, urging them to renew their commitment to disciplined organisational work, public service, and collective responsibility, with a sustained focus on Ladakh’s development and social stability.
In a message issued here, Gyalson said the occasion marks not merely the passage of 47 years since the party’s inception, but also reflects the endurance of its guiding principles rooted in nationalism, service, and organisational cohesion. He credited party workers for strengthening the party’s foundations through consistent outreach and engagement across regions.
Highlighting the role of grassroots workers, he said their efforts in reaching households and communities have played a crucial role in expanding the party’s presence and advancing its vision of a united and self-reliant India. He called upon cadres to continue working with discipline, dedication, and clarity of purpose.
Emphasising internal cohesion, Gyalson urged party members to uphold unity and organisational discipline while addressing emerging challenges. He noted that coordinated efforts within the party are essential to ensure effective service delivery and meaningful engagement with the public.
Referring specifically to Ladakh, the BJP leader underscored the need to safeguard the region’s distinct identity while promoting balanced and sustainable development. He said maintaining peace and ensuring equitable progress remain central responsibilities for party workers in the Union Territory.
Gyalson further called for intensified outreach at the grassroots level, stressing that continued interaction with citizens is vital for understanding local concerns and strengthening democratic processes.
