Nyoma, Nov 17: A government outreach drive swept through Nyoma, Mudh and Nidhar villages on November 15, taking welfare services directly to residents as the administration intensified its “Mimings Si sJabstogs” campaign to push last-mile delivery in the high-altitude region.
Set up as mobile service points, the camps brought multiple departments under one roof, allowing villagers to access schemes, submit applications and raise concerns without travelling long distances. The administration said the effort is aimed at closing service gaps in remote pockets and ensuring that households receive the full range of benefits available to them.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kacho Asgar Ali engaged with residents during the drive, outlining the campaign’s objectives and urging them to take advantage of the on-spot facilities. He stressed that direct interaction between officials and citizens helps remove procedural barriers and builds confidence in government programmes.
Villagers turned out in good numbers, using the platform to seek clarifications, complete formalities and discuss local issues. Officials reported an encouraging level of participation, noting that the initiative continues to serve as a vital channel for rural communities to connect with the administration.
