JAMMU, May 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered the immediate transfer and posting of two officers in the interest of administration.
As per Government Order No. 1019-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 29, 2026, issued by the General Administration Department, Pranjal J. Hazarika, IAS (AGMUT:2021), Additional Secretary in the Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, against an available vacancy.
The order also states that Vishavjeet Singh, JKAS, who was awaiting posting in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Billawar. He replaces Vinay Khosla, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
The transfers take effect immediately and were issued under the orders of the Lieutenant Governor.
