New Delhi, Aug 21: In a major push towards digital transformation and e-Governance, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), today launched two innovative web applications designed to enhance the operational efficiency of the Military Engineering Services (MES).
The applications, namely MES Integrated Monitoring and Management Software for Arbitration (MIMAMSA) and Electronic Measurement Book (e-MB), have been jointly developed by the Indian Army in collaboration with Settlez ADR Institute Pvt Ltd and ILEX Softhub Pvt Ltd.
MIMAMSA is a cutting-edge digital solution that facilitates online arbitration between contractors and MES, offering a faster and more transparent mechanism to resolve disputes. On the other hand, e-MB revolutionises the conventional, time-consuming system of manual measurement recording, verification, and payment documentation. By digitising the entire workflow, e-MB ensures real-time tracking, accountability, and ease of access for all stakeholders involved.
The integration of digital solutions like MIMAMSA and e-MB will not only cut delays but also help reduce paperwork, enhance transparency in financial management, and improve contractor satisfaction—thereby boosting the overall productivity of MES. The launch reflects the Indian Army’s broader vision of leveraging technology to streamline processes and strengthen institutional efficiency across all its domains.
