New Delhi: The meme and song “Krish Ka Gaana Sunega” have taken social media by storm, and the face behind the viral trend is 32-year-old Pintu Prasad from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Once a waste picker struggling to survive, Pintu is now known online as the “Viral Dhoom Boy”, with his signature line “Krrish ka gaana sunega… le beta” inspiring countless reels and remixes.
According to reports, Pintu lost his parents at a young age and grew up in extreme hardship, earning a living by picking garbage, cleaning toilets and doing other odd jobs. His raw energy, innocence and emotional way of singing “Dil Na Diya” from Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish turned a casual clip into a national trend, even as memes masked a difficult life marked by poverty and addiction.
Pintu is now receiving support from local organisations such as the Astitva Foundation in Jamshedpur, which is helping him with rehabilitation and skill-building so he can rebuild his life. With thousands of followers on social media and growing public attention, his journey from the margins to mainstream visibility has become a symbol of how a few seconds of viral fame can reveal both hidden talent and harsh reality.
