SHAM : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received a fresh organisational boost in Ladakh on Saturday as four residents of Wanla village formally joined the party during the ongoing Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan at Khaltse in Sham District.
Among those inducted into the party was Chimet Namgail Olgo, former President of the Congress Party’s Singay Lalok Block, Wanla. The other new members included Smanla Tundup, Tsetan and Tundup Namgail.
The induction took place in the presence of senior BJP leaders, district office bearers and party workers participating in the training programme.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, BJP leaders expressed confidence that their experience, commitment and grassroots outreach would contribute to strengthening the organisation across the region.
Party leaders said the decision of the four residents to join the BJP reflected growing public confidence in the party’s leadership, vision and development-oriented agenda. They added that the BJP continues to attract individuals from different sections of society who are committed to the progress of Ladakh and the welfare of its people.
The new members, while expressing their faith in the BJP leadership, pledged to work for the party’s objectives of inclusive development, good governance and public service. They assured party leaders of their active participation in strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.
The joining ceremony formed part of the broader Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan being conducted in Sham District, which has brought together party leaders and workers for organisational training and outreach activities.
