Leh, Sept 06: In a remarkable initiative showcasing courage, endurance and adventure, the Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army has launched an expedition to the Central Rimo Glacier in Ladakh.
The team was formally flagged off from Leh by Major General Dinesh Kumar Singh, Chief of Staff, Fire and Fury Corps.
The Central Rimo Glacier, located in the remote and rugged expanses of Ladakh, poses one of the most formidable challenges for mountaineers. With its steep gradients, treacherous crevasses, and unpredictable weather, the peaks surrounding the glacier are considered a true test of skill, grit, and determination.
