Leh, Jul 10: Former Member of Parliament from Ladakh and senior BJP leader, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today met with His Eminence Drikung Khenchen Rangdol Rinpoche to personally convey his heartfelt congratulations on the latter’s recent elevation to the esteemed title of Drikung Khenchen.
The meeting, which Namgyal described as an honour, held deep spiritual and cultural significance. Sharing the moment on his official Facebook page, the former MP expressed his sincere prayers for the success of Khenchen Rangdol Rinpoche’s Dharma endeavours aimed at the benefit of all sentient beings.
“I offer my sincere prayers for the success of his noble Dharma activities dedicated to the benefit of all sentient beings, and for the continued preservation and flourishing of the Drikung Kagyu lineage,” Namgyal wrote in his post.
The interaction between the two was described by Namgyal as deeply meaningful and enriching. According to his post, their discussion spanned a wide range of topics concerning the socio-spiritual well-being of Ladakhi society.
“We discussed a wide range of issues concerning the well-being of Ladakhi society and its spiritual advancement in the greater interest of our people,” Namgyal added.
