Leh, Jun 12: In a proud moment for Ladakh, two students from Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh, Odsal Yangzes and Nayala Sikand, have made headlines by representing the Ladakh State Football Team at the 29th Senior Women’s National Football Championship for the Ramata Jitbal Trophy 2024–25.
The prestigious tournament, organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), was held in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, from October 19 to October 23. Odsal and Nayala participated as official playing members of the Ladakh team, showcasing exceptional skills, teamwork, and determination on the national stage.
Their participation marks a significant achievement for not only DPS Leh but also for the sporting community in the entire Ladakh region. Both students displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament, earning admiration from coaches, spectators, and peers alike.
DPS Leh has extended heartfelt congratulations to the duo, celebrating their success as a major milestone in the school’s growing reputation in sports. “Odsal and Nayala’s dedication is an inspiration to all.
