Doda, May 3: In a move aimed at maintaining public order and ensuring citizen safety, District Magistrate Doda, Krishan Lal, has issued an order under Section 163 of the BNSS prohibiting unauthorized gatherings of five or more individuals.
The restrictions apply to key areas including Clock Tower Chowk, Dessa Road, and within a 100-meter radius of the JK Sports Stadium. Authorities said the step was taken in view of inputs about possible unregulated demonstrations that could disrupt traffic and pose a risk to peace in the area.
