Kargil, Oct 10: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kargil organized a district-level elementary quiz competition on Friday, bringing together young scholars to showcase their academic abilities. The event saw participation from 39 students representing 13 schools, all of whom had secured top positions at the zone-level across seven zones of the district.
The quiz featured eight rounds, covering General Knowledge, English Literacy, Numeracy, Environment, Ladakh Special, Visual, and Rapid Fire segments, all conducted by the esteemed faculty of DIET Kargil. After a highly competitive contest, MS Titichimik emerged victorious, with MS Wakha finishing second and PS Gatoo Khaos securing third place.
The competition was graced by CEO Kargil Sonam Wangchuk, Principal DIET Kargil S.D. Namgyal, and all Zonal Education Officers, who highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering academic excellence among students. Position holders were awarded certificates and mementos by the dignitaries.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, students, and DIET Kargil faculty, reflecting the institution’s ongoing commitment to quality education in the district. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from HOD Khursheeda Banoo, while coordination of the event was led by Dr. Willayat Ali and the DIET Kargil team.
