New Delhi, Sept 19: A ceremonial pipping function was organised today at the Force Headquarters of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to mark the promotion of Mukesh Singh, IPS, Inspector General (Headquarters), to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG).
The honours of the pipping ceremony were performed by Director General, ITBP, Rahul Rasgotra, in the presence of senior officers and colleagues from the Force. The occasion was marked by warm congratulations, reflecting the pride of the organisation in Sh. Singh’s career progression and contributions.
Mukesh Singh, a senior IPS officer with a distinguished service record, has held several important assignments during his career, contributing significantly to policing, internal security, and force administration. His elevation to the rank of ADG is seen as a recognition of his dedication, professional competence, and leadership qualities.
DG ITBP, while felicitating the newly promoted officer, expressed confidence that Sh. Singh will continue to uphold the values of the Force and further strengthen its operational and administrative framework.
