NEW DELHI, MAR 29: The Anti‑Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Delhi Police Crime Branch has dismantled an organised inter‑state drug network operating in Delhi and the NCR, seizing psychotropic substances valued at over Rs 4.5 crore.
During the operation, investigators recovered 3.539 kg of Alprazolam and 1.709 kg of Tramadol tablets and capsules, highlighting the scale of the illegal psychotropic‑drugs trade. The syndicate was allegedly moving banned medicines across state borders for illicit sale and abuse.
Four accused persons were arrested in the case, while one case‑related accused (CCL) was also apprehended. The ANTF said the bust would disrupt the supply chain of controlled substances and intensify crackdowns on similar networks in the region.
