Jammu, Feb 15: The Delhi Government reshuffled 72 IAS officers across departments, highlighting six AGMUT cadre officers with Jammu & Kashmir experience taking up major national capital positions.
Bipul Pathak (1992 batch, ex-Addl Chief Secy Social Welfare, J&K) posted as Addl Chief Secy (Social Welfare), retaining Director (UTCS) and Addl Chief Secy (SC/ST/OBC) charges. Santosh D Vaidya (1998 batch, ex-Principal Secy Finance, J&K) joins GNCTD as Principal Secy (Home), also handling Principal Secy (Finance/Planning), Industries, and DSIIDC Chairperson roles. Pandurang K Pole (2004 batch, ex-Secy Higher Edn/TTE/Education) appointed Secy (GAD), plus Secy-cum-Commissioner (Labour) and Secy (Cooperation). Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (2005 batch, ex-Secy Urban Dev/Env & Forests) named Secy (Urban Development), retaining Secy (Env & Forests) and DPCC Chairman duties. Niraj Kumar (2010 batch, awaiting posting) gets Special Secy (SC/ST/OBC). Saloni Rai (2016 batch, ex-DC Udhampur) posted as DC/DM (North).
This cadre rotation strengthens J&K-Delhi administrative coordination.
