Rajouri, Aug 05: The Chief Education Officer Rajouri has directed all staff posted in various Zonal Education Offices across the district, as well as National Youth Corps (NYCs) and Rehbar-e-Khel (REKs) engaged in schools, to ensure strict compliance with the JK Smart Attendance System. The order, issued today, underscores that marking daily attendance on the JK Smart Attendance App is compulsory for every employee without exception.
The directive comes after the officer’s office observed with concern that despite repeated instructions, some staff members have failed to mark their attendance through the digital system. Terming this continued disregard for official protocols as highly astonishing and unacceptable, the order warns that such negligence will not be tolerated any longer.
The Chief Education Officer has reiterated that employees who fail to adhere to the mandate will be viewed seriously and could face disciplinary action. The circular emphasizes that all employees must mark their daily attendance without fail on the JK Smart Attendance App to maintain transparency and accountability within the education system.
The communication has been extended to all Principals, Zonal Education Officers, and Headmasters in the district, while a copy has also been forwarded to the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha J&K, for necessary information.
With the reiteration of this order, authorities have left no room for laxity, signaling a firm stance on enforcing digital attendance across educational institutions in Rajouri district.
