Railways scored big: Rs 5,236 cr to double the Gondia-Jabalpur line for faster freight; Rs 2,668 cr for Punarkh-Kiul’s 3rd/4th tracks; and Rs 1,168 cr for Gamharia-Chandil upgrades—easing congestion and spurring growth. Aviation gets a facelift with Rs 1,667 cr for Srinagar’s new integrated terminal, boosting Valley tourism and connectivity. Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2B extends with Rs 1,067 cr, while raw jute MSP hikes at Rs 430 cr aid farmers.
