LEH: BJP Ladakh observed Good Governance Day at the BJP Headquarters under the leadership of Khachu Tashi, BJP State President, commemorating the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, a visionary leader who laid the foundation of transparent and people-centric governance in India.
Party leaders and karyakartas paid tributes to Vajpayee by offering traditional khataks, recalling his enduring legacy of honesty, humility and inclusive governance. Khachu highlighted that Good Governance Day is being observed nationwide through year-long programmes to honour Vajpayee’s ideals, underlining BJP’s organisational discipline, democratic functioning and commitment to public welfare.
Senior leaders including Dorjey Angchuk, P.T. Kunzang, Nawang Samstan and Former MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal recalled Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s landmark contributions to nation-building and urged party workers to carry forward his vision of good governance to the grassroots.
Good Governance Day was also observed at the BJP District Office, Sham (Khaltsi), with party workers reaffirming their commitment to transparency, accountability and citizen-centric administration.
