New Delhi: J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) chaired a follow-up meeting of All Cells functionaries at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, taking forward the organizational directions emerging from the recently held national-level All Cells workshop in New Delhi.
J&K BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, J&K BJP General Secretary and Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan Incharge Gopal Mahajan, All Cells Incharge Ved Sharma, and All Cells Co-Incharge Munish Khajuria also addressed the meeting.
Sat Sharma laid special emphasis on ensuring that every programme and organizational initiative outlined by the Central leadership is implemented with full coordination and discipline across Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that cells should not remain confined to organizational structures or occasional activities, but must actively engage professionals, social groups, intellectuals, youth, women and other sections associated with their respective areas of work.
“Every cell has a specific responsibility and a defined social domain. Our functionaries must go deep into their respective fields, understand the concerns and aspirations of the people, connect with them and bring them closer to the organization,” Sat Sharma said.
Sharma particularly directed the cell functionaries to actively participate in the ongoing month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan’, ensuring that its programmes achieve wider social participation and meaningful grassroots outreach.
Baldev Singh Billawaria called for exploring newer avenues to expand the functioning of the cells and make their activities more regular, focused and result-oriented.
Gopal Mahajan deliberated upon the ongoing programmes under the Abhiyaan and emphasized the need for all cells to actively contribute to their successful implementation and wider outreach.
Ved Sharma gave a detailed briefing on the deliberations and organizational directions emerging from the workshop. He directed all cell convenors and co-convenors to complete their district-level teams and Mandal-level teams within one month. He also stressed effective use of social media, asking cells to create dedicated pages and digital platforms to regularly showcase their activities and strengthen communication with society.
Munish Khajuria conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
