Bengaluru: A 26-year-old gym trainer and bodybuilder tragically ended his life at his Mahalakshmi Layout home after his girlfriend of three years revealed her engagement to another man, showing him the wedding saree and invitation.
Kiran, deeply distraught, locked himself in his room Saturday evening following the meeting where they had planned Valentine’s Day celebrations together. Family members broke open the door to find him hanging; he left a suicide note naming his girlfriend and her mother as responsible, even sharing his phone password “99999”.
Police have registered a case and are investigating emotional distress factors, financial support claims, and call records. Kiran had appeared withdrawn for two weeks prior amid the heartbreak.
