JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 29: Four personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), including an Assistant Commandant, were killed in an alleged fratricide incident at the Sewa-III power project in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
According to officials, the CISF personnel were deployed for security at the power project located in Mashka village of Basohli, near the Jammu and Kashmir-Himachal Pradesh border.
Preliminary information suggests that an argument broke out between two CISF personnel over an issue, following which one of them allegedly opened fire, resulting in the deaths of four personnel.
Senior officers have reached the site and are assessing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
