New Delhi, Aug 30: A delegation of the Armed Forces HQ Association on Sunday met Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr Jitendra Singh and discussed various service-related concerns and demands of civilian employees.
The delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting issues related to career progression, promotions and pending service matters. The representatives held detailed discussions with the Minister in a constructive and positive atmosphere.
Dr Jitendra Singh appreciated the delegation for raising the concerns in a structured manner and stressed the importance of continuous dialogue between employee representatives and the administration.
The Minister assured the delegation that the demands and representations would be examined in consultation with the concerned departments and stakeholders. He said efforts would be made to address genuine concerns through the appropriate administrative process.
Singh also emphasised that regular engagement with employee associations helps the Government better understand service-related issues and work towards their resolution.
The representatives thanked the Minister and the Department of Personnel and Training for their continued engagement with government employees and efforts to address long-standing service-related concerns.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the Minister reiterating that the issues raised would receive due consideration.
