Patharkandi, Apr 7: Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged Assam voters to elect a BJP government in 2026, promising to identify and expel infiltrators “one by one” from the country.
Addressing a public gathering in Patharkandi, Shah declared: “Form a BJP government this time. We have already identified the infiltrators. Now it is time to remove them one by one and drive them out of the country.”
The remarks signal BJP’s aggressive anti-infiltration stance ahead of next year’s assembly elections.
