Billawar, May 20 : A Block Diwas programme was today organized at Panchayat Ghar Upper Baggan under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Billawar, Vinay Khosla (JKAS). The programme witnessed active public participation, with residents from various panchayats projecting issues and grievances concerning development works and basic civic amenities.
During the interaction, the ADC gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by the public and assured them of timely and effective redressal of all genuine grievances. He directed the concerned departmental officers to take prompt action on the issues highlighted during the programme.
The ADC reiterated the administration’s commitment towards responsive governance and strengthening public service delivery at the grassroots level through regular public outreach programmes.
Officers from various departments, PRI representatives, and a large number of local residents were present on the occasion.
