CBSE Cancels Class 12 Exams in Middle East Amid Regional Crisis

New Delhi, Mar 15: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scrapped Class 12 board exams scheduled from March 16 to April 10, 2026, for students in CBSE-affiliated schools across key Middle Eastern nations.

The decision follows assessments of logistical challenges and requests from schools and local authorities in the affected areas, as outlined in an official circular.

The cancellation covers Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, including previously postponed exams from March 1-9.
