Leh, Feb 04: The Leh district administration on Wednesday directed all Block Development Officers to urgently submit complete village-level data for the mapping of Adi Seva Kendras under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, marking the central focus of a high-level review meeting held in Leh.

The review meeting to assess the implementation status of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan (AKA) was held under the chairmanship of the Additional District Development Commissioner, Leh, Sonam Norboo, JKAS, at the VC Room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Leh.

As per official records, the meeting was held on February 4, 2025.

The discussion centred on the ongoing mapping of Adi Seva Kendras across different villages of the Union Territory of Ladakh, with the objective of strengthening last-mile service delivery.

During the meeting, the Block Development Officers were instructed to extend immediate support to the field-level exercise and ensure early submission of the required information for onward transmission to higher authorities in the Government of India.

The information sought from the blocks includes a detailed list of Adi Seva Kendras with location coordinates, particulars of Adi Karmayogis — including Adi Sathis and Sahyogis — along with their educational qualifications and professional experience, and the proposed clustering of Gram Panchayats into groups of two to three based on geographical proximity, as prescribed in the annexure.

The progress of the functioning of SRMCs under LREDA was also reviewed during the meeting. It was reiterated that the supervision of the SRMCs shall continue to be carried out by the respective Block Development Officers.

The district administration further informed that a follow-up meeting will be convened shortly to review the progress of implementation and compliance with the directions issued.

The meeting was attended, both physically and through virtual mode, by the District Programme Officer, ICDS and Assistant Commissioner (Development), Leh; the District Social Welfare Officer, Leh; the District Informatics Officer, Leh; the District Panchayat Officer, Leh; and all Block Development Officers of Leh district.
