New Delhi, Dec 18: A Delhi court remanded Yasir Ahmad Dar, the ninth accused arrested in the Red Fort blast case, to NIA custody until December 26 for interrogation.
Special Judge Prashant Sharma approved the National Investigation Agency’s request, identifying Dar—a Jammu & Kashmir resident—as a close associate of suicide bomber Umar-un-Nabi.
NIA alleges Dar actively participated in plotting the November 10 blast that killed 15 and injured many, having sworn to conduct suicide operations and maintained close ties with co-accused including Mufti Irfan.
