JAMMU, Dec 10: J&K Police’s State Investigation Agency (SIA) attached ancestral property of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Zahid Hussain in Doda district’s Mangota village on Wednesday, acting on court orders.
The land was identified, verified on ground, inspected, and formally seized as part of an intensified drive to dismantle the terror network operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
Hussain, active from across the border, faces accusations of radicalising and recruiting local youth as overground workers (OGWs) via social media platforms. Officials described the attachment as a key move to cripple the financial and logistical support sustaining terrorism in the region.
