Leh, Oct 07: A solemn farewell ceremony was held at the Mahabodhi Ozen Sattori Hall in honour of a group of devotees from Malaysia and Mysore.
The event, which was initially planned as a grand celebration, was held in a more subdued manner due to the recent unfortunate incident in Leh.
The evening began with an inspiring Dhamma talk by Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena. In his address, Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena encouraged the devotees to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey and to continue the practice of Buddha Dhamma in their daily lives.
He emphasized the importance of mindfulness, compassion, and consistency in one’s practice beyond the boundaries of time and place.
The students of Mahabodhi Girls Hostel presented a series of melodious Dhamma songs, expressing their gratitude and good wishes to the visiting devotees.
The guests, in turn, shared spiritual songs in their native languages, creating a touching atmosphere of unity and mutual appreciation.
As a gesture of deep faith and devotion, the devotees from Malaysia made a generous contribution towards the installation of 11 Buddha statues at the MIMC Buddha Park for World Peace. The farewell gathering concluded with words of gratitude, blessings, and heartfelt prayers for peace, harmony, and spiritual progress for all.
