Khaltse, Jul 23: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming Indus river cleanliness drive scheduled to be held on 1st August 2025. The said cleanliness drive shall commence from 8:00 AM.
A detailed discussion was held with officers regarding the arrangements and coordination required for the successful conduct of the drive.
During the meeting, SDM Mohd Sharif directed all officers and officials of the sub-division to coordinate effectively and ensure the drive is conducted smoothly and successfully. He emphasized that the participation of all officers and officials of Sub Division Khaltse is mandatory.
Additionally, he instructed the Numberdar of Khaltse to ensure active participation of villagers in the drive. The tributaries and gorges to be cleaned by the Sub-Divisional employees shall be identified by the Namberdar of Khaltse.

The SDM urged all stakeholders to work collectively to make the drive a meaningful step towards environmental sustainability and community hygiene.
