New Delhi, Feb 7: The 8th Central Pay Commission launched its official website (https://8cpc.gov.in/) on Saturday, inviting structured feedback from central government employees, pensioners, ministries, and stakeholders through an 18-question questionnaire hosted on MyGov.in.
Notified by the Finance Ministry on November 3, 2025 (announced January 2025), the commission—chaired by Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai—has 18 months to recommend revisions to salaries, pensions, and allowances effective January 1, 2026. Responses, kept anonymous and analyzed in aggregate, must be submitted online by March 16, 2026—no emails or paper accepted.
Key topics include macroeconomic impacts, fitment factors, increment structures, and top-level pay benchmarking. The process ensures broad consultation before finalizing hikes expected to benefit millions of employees and pensioners.
