Kargil, Jul 13: The Indian Army held a bike rally in Ladakh today from Kumbathang to Randhawa Top, commemorating the 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event brought together 50 riders who braved the rugged landscape in tribute to the soldiers who fell during Operation Vijay in 1999.
Navigating the high-altitude roads of Ladakh, the participants demonstrated resilience and unity, echoing the spirit of those who fought in the Kargil conflict. The ride was more than a test of endurance—it was a moving homage to the men who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation.
At Randhawa Top, where the rally concluded, the scene evoked memories of the determination and strength that shaped India’s response during the war. The rally, part of wider national observances, was organized to connect youth with the legacy of those who served, reinforcing a sense of pride and commitment to the country.
Across India, similar events are being held to honor the memory of the fallen and celebrate the courage that defined Kargil Vijay Diwas.
