Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its senior leaders listened to the 138th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at various locations across Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), along with MLA Surinder Bhagat and District President Nand Kishore Sharma, listened to the programme alongside party workers and local residents at Galwade Chak in the Marh Assembly constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has emerged as a unique platform through which Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly connects with the people, highlights inspiring achievements from across the country and encourages citizens to contribute towards nation-building. He said the programme reflects the Prime Minister’s emphasis on public participation, social responsibility and the collective strength of citizens in building a developed and self-reliant India.
Sat Sharma said that the 138th episode once again provided people an opportunity to listen to the Prime Minister’s thoughts on important national issues and the inspiring work being undertaken by citizens at the grassroots. He called upon BJP workers to take the message of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to every booth and strengthen direct interaction with people.
Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma, along with J&K BJP Vice President Dr. Shahnaz Ganai, General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan, MLA Basohli Thakur Darshan Singh, Co-Convenor Social Media and District Prabhari Pulwama Sajjad Raina and former District President Pulwama Lateef Bhat, listened to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Booth No. 62, Patalnagh, Pampore, District Pulwama.
Sunil Sharma said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has strengthened the spirit of public participation by bringing inspiring stories, national achievements and grassroots initiatives directly before the people. He said BJP workers across Jammu & Kashmir remain committed to carrying forward this spirit of service and constructive public engagement.
