A major issue raised during the meeting was the recruitment process in the Agriculture University. The delegation urged the Minister to ensure that deserving local candidates are given due preference based on merit and performance, thereby safeguarding employment opportunities for the youth of the region.
The delegation also sought accelerated implementation of developmental works in rural areas, particularly Bishnah, Akhnoor, R.S. Pura, Samba, and adjoining regions.
