Ahmedabad, Jan 11: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani Sunday extolled India’s unshakeable resilience amid worldwide turbulence, crediting an “invincible protective wall called Narendra Modi” for shielding the nation from geopolitical storms. Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for Kutch and Saurashtra in Rajkot, Ambani urged the world to recognize this as “India’s defining decade” under the Prime Minister’s stewardship.
Inaugurated that afternoon by PM Modi—who highlighted India’s rare stability amid global chaos—Ambani painted a vivid picture of a nation not just enduring change but architecting it. “The world shifts rapidly, birthing unforeseen challenges and upheavals. Yet India stands unmoved, untouched, thanks to Narendra Modi’s unbreachable defense,” he declared. From Saurashtra and Kutch’s industrial vanguard, Reliance is thrilled to fuel this trajectory, he added.
Ambani unveiled Reliance’s bold escalation in Gujarat, doubling investments from Rs 3.5 lakh crore over the past five years to Rs 7 lakh crore in the next. “As Gujarat’s top investor, we’ll spark exponential jobs, livelihoods, and prosperity for every Gujarati—and every Indian,” he pledged. This infusion targets AI leadership, clean energy, and infrastructure, cementing Gujarat’s powerhouse status.
Positioning Gujarat as India’s AI trailblazer, Ambani spotlighted Jamnagar’s massive AI-ready data center. “Our singular aim: affordable AI for every Indian,” he said. Jio will roll out a “people-first intelligent platform”—crafted in India for India and the globe—empowering citizens via their devices in native languages. Starting in Gujarat, it promises daily boosts in efficiency and productivity for all.
Reliance recommitted to clean energy dominance, transforming Jamnagar from hydrocarbon giant to India’s green export hub. “We’re crafting the world’s largest integrated ecosystem: solar, battery storage, green hydrogen, fertilizers, sustainable aviation and maritime fuels, plus advanced materials,” Ambani detailed. A multi-gigawatt solar mega-project, among the globe’s biggest, will deliver 24/7 clean power via cutting-edge storage and grids—propelling Gujarat’s renewable supremacy.
Kutch, he envisioned, emerges as a global clean energy nexus, powering India’s sustainable tomorrow.
Aligning with PM Modi’s 2036 Ahmedabad Olympics vision, Reliance Foundation steps up for India’s sporting ascent. “We’ll partner Gujarat government to run the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex in Naranpura,” Ambani announced. Repurposed as a national-international event hub and training ground for future champions, it embodies collaborative progress.
Ambani’s address, blending praise for leadership with concrete pledges, underscores Gujarat’s pivotal role in Modi’s Viksit Bharat blueprint—drawing industry, innovation, and investment to forge a self-reliant India.
