Nubra, Nov 17: The Mimangs Si rJabstogs campaign wrapped up in Sumoor village on Monday with a strong turnout as residents accessed a wide range of government services delivered through a multi-department outreach led by Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Chhostak.
Nearly 20 departments set up public facilitation counters during the day-long camp, designed to boost civic engagement and streamline the delivery of welfare schemes across the Nubra Sub Division. Officials briefed villagers on ongoing schemes, fielded queries, and addressed pending grievances on the spot.
The camp recorded steady footfall, with frontline services drawing the most applicants. Authorities processed 15 Aadhaar updates, issued 13 Resident Certificates, provided 55 Revenue Extracts, and delivered 10 Scheduled Tribe certificates along with one fresh ST certificate. Another set of residents received six Income Certificates and eight electoral roll-related services.
Health, agriculture, and social welfare desks also remained active throughout the event. Teams generated 14 ABHA IDs, completed 15 PM-JAY enrolments, and conducted NCD screenings. Registrations under PM-KISAN and Kisan Credit Card were taken up alongside applications for greenhouse beneficiaries, PMMVY assistance, APAAR ID creation, and other departmental offerings.
Representatives from J&K Bank supported beneficiaries with financial services and helped residents navigate banking procedures.
The outreach concluded with villagers welcoming the administration’s push to bring public services closer to remote households, reinforcing official claims of improved access and responsiveness across the region.
